A marine accident in the waters off Rovinj, Croatia, startled residents and tourists alike on a Sunday evening. According to local news sources, the incident occurred around 19:30 when two boats, carrying a total of 11 people, collided near the coastal town. Among the passengers, there were also children.

The impact caused those onboard one of the boats to be thrown into the sea, while the other vessel—a speedboat—continued uncontrollably, eventually crashing into the wall of Rovinj’s Valdibora Harbour. The chaotic scene resulted in immediate calls to emergency services, who promptly arrived to assist those involved.
