An international crime syndicate member was apprehended at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” during the early hours of Sunday. The suspect, a foreign national, was found in possession of a significant quantity of unprocessed cannabis (skunk), amounting to nearly 19 kilograms.

The Greek Anti-Narcotics Subdivision of the Organised Crime Directorate executed the arrest as part of a targeted operation aimed at preventing the influx of illegal drugs into Greece.
