The Croatian Parliament, known as the Sabor, voted to reinstate Dabro as a representative after his parliamentary mandate, which had been dormant since last May, was reactivated. The reinstatement received support from 76 members, while five opposed it. Notably, members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) exited the session in protest prior to the vote.
In the interim, Dabro’s seat was occupied by his deputy, Ivana Mujkić, who has been commended by the Speaker of Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, for her diligent service. With Dabro’s return, Mujkić steps down from her temporary role.

Parallel to parliamentary developments, Croatian authorities, including the police and the State Attorney’s Office (DORH), are conducting an ongoing investigation into further allegations involving Dabro. Unofficial sources indicate that police executed another search of Dabro’s residence in Otok, near the town of Vinkovci, following the first search earlier in the week. This investigation expands with allegations from multiple video recordings, including one showing Dabro alongside young individuals firing an automatic weapon.
The police, who have been restrained in their public comments about the case, acted in response to the videos, which are reportedly now in the hands of the prosecuting authorities. There is speculation that Dabro and another individual may face charges related to illegal arms possession and child protection violations, resulting from the footage allegedly showing a minor using a firearm.
The political and legal dimensions of Dabro’s situation remain closely intertwined as authorities continue their investigations, while Dabro himself resumes his legislative duties amid the unfolding scrutiny. The Ministry of Agriculture continues to operate under the interim leadership of State Secretary Tugomir Majdak until a permanent replacement for Dabro is appointed.
